Pre-applied thread sealing

In general, these materials are environmentally friendly, being water-based and containing PTFE, which provides both sealing and torsional capabilities. They provide immediate sealing upon installation on both ferrous and non-ferrous threaded parts and have a wide operating temperature range of around 200 °C. These materials allow component adjustment after installation and, compared to conventional methods, also permit subsequent disassembly. Overall, they offer a lower tightening torque during assembly than typical fastener materials, while achieving a high breakaway torque due to the solid fill of the applied adhesive.
